General Terms & Conditions

Lay-By orders will only be accepted on sales over $59.00.
A 25% deposit is required.
Lay-By orders are limited to a period of four (4) weeks from the date the order is placed.
Weekly payments must be made during the term of the Lay-By.
Upon payment of the initial deposit, the Customer is deemed to have agreed and accepted the Terms and Conditions set out by Stop Staring.
Customer's are not allowed to change the product(s) of the Lay-By purchase once the Lay-By contract has commenced.
It is the Customer's responsibility to notify Stop Staring of any change in their personal details (e.g. address, email address, contact number/s etc.).
Lay-By orders will be ready for collection after final payment is made, within the four (4) week period.
If a Customer is having trouble making their Lay-By payments on time, they should contact Stop Staring as soon as possible to discuss possible options. If a Customer fails to make payments, then they are deemed in breach of the contract and Stop Staring reserves the right to cancel the Customer's Lay-By.

Cancellation

If a Customer changes their mind or are late making the specified payments, Customer's are in breach of the Lay-by Terms and Conditions.
Stop Staring reserves the right to cancel a Lay-By when the goods are no longer available; the Customer has broken the Terms and Conditions of the Lay-By and has not rectified the breach within seven (7) days from the date of notice; or a Customer’s payments are not received in accordance with the payment schedule (weekly payments).

Customer’s are required to pay a Lay-By Cancellation Fee of 30% of the total Lay-By order amount.
Customer’s are required to pay a Lay-By Cancellation Fee when a Customer cancels the Lay-By transaction, or the Customer has not adhered to the Terms and Conditions and has not rectified the breach within seven (7) days from the date of notice.
Stop Staring will refund the Customer the net balance (if any) of Lay-By amount received after deducting the Lay-By Cancellation Fee.
